The 19th Century Ghillies Lodge occupies one of the best riverside locations in Inverness. There are nooks and crannies everywhere and rooms that ooze comfort and tranquility. With just 3 letting rooms the lodge is in an idyllic situation and open all year. King size double en-suite from £65 per night and twin room en-suite from £62 per night all rates include full Highland breakfast.

The Lodge was built in 1847 and has over the years been modernised to incorporate current facilities such as central heating and Wi Fi. The fabric of the building is very much as the original lodge was built over 150 years ago on the banks of the River Ness. Full Highland breakfast is served daily from 7.30am to 9.00am and a Continental breakfast is available for those wishing to be away earlier. Fresh local produce is used and vegetarian and special diets are catered for if advised in advance. All rooms have tea & coffee tray with fresh milk. There are several restaurants available within easy walking distance along the river side and the centre of the city is just 1.5miles away. All rooms have TV, Radio & CD player. There is also a sun porch where you can relax and watch the river or the walkers strolling the Ness islands. Nearby (5 mins walk) is Bellfield park which has a putting green, tennis courts, outdoor keep fit equipment and play area. The park also has a bandstand with regular concerts throughout the year. Across the river is Eden Court Theatre which is open all year and provides ballet, concerts, plays and a cinema.
