Situated in leafy North Oxford, yet only a 10 minute stroll from the city centre and all of Oxford's main attractions, St Antony's College is the most cosmopolitan of the seven graduate colleges of the University of Oxford, specialising in international relations, economics, politics and the history of particular parts of the world. Originally comprising a former Convent and the College Library, St Antony's has added to its buildings over the years, including a Student Accommodation block which houses all of the modern, single ensuite rooms which the College makes available to guests at certain times of the year. Please note, the college is unable to accept bookings from Stag & Hen parties.

One of the newer of the colleges which form the collegiate University of Oxford, St Antony's was founded in 1948 through the benefaction of a successful French businessman - Antonin Besse - who, having made his fortune trading in and around the Middle East wished to use his wealth to establish an Oxford college where students from all around the globe could come to study the social, political and economic histories of different regions of the world. Shared self catering kitchens near all bedrooms. Rooms are on a room only basis unless specified. Lunch and dinner may be available when the Dining Hall is open at an additional cost. As one of the newer colleges of Oxford University, St Antony's does not have the more traditional "quad and cloisters" environment of many of the centuries-old colleges, although the College is set in pleasant, informally landscaped grounds and gardens, with large lawned areas and many trees. Guests are welcome to make use of the grounds for relaxation and contemplation. All rooms have Internet access - there is some wireless access, restricted in some parts of the College, free use of open access email facility in the Hilda Besse building foyer.
